The multi-track and telephonic rehabilitation services team at HCML has a new manager, David Staines, who has joined from rival company, 3d Rehabilitation.
His appointment is part of HCML’s expansion plans to bolster and develop its serious injury case management services for patients referred by insurance clients and claimant solicitors.
Staines has 10 years’ experience in case management and team management. He specialises in sport and exercise science, disability management, chronic pain management, complex orthopaedic injuries, burns care and return to work planning.
HCML’s chief executive Keith Bushnell said: “We keep attracting the best talent from our rivals. David brings a wealth of experience to our multitrack and telephonic case management teams in Croydon, from telephonic immediate needs assessments to multitrack assessment and rehabilitation planning.
“He is skilled in clinical audits, in navigating complex healthcare systems, in developing patient pathways and in working with insurers, solicitors, clinicians and employers to ensure patients are put on the best road to recovery and stay there.”
HCML helps 45,000 injured people recover each year and employs over 70 case managers throughout the UK.
