Status: Flexible worker contract (Home based with local travel)
Salary: Rate dependent on experience (typical£16 - £24 per hour)

HCML are seeking Vocational Case Managers on a worker contract basis to join our expanding network of expert clinicians. Our Vocational Case Manager network provide first class clinical assessment services for our corporate occupational rehabilitation customers across the UK, delivering a range of physical and mental health services in-person and remotely via telephone & video. Our services are designed to be highly flexible meaning that they’re a great fit for those with busy schedules. The complexity of our services ranges from mild/moderate acute conditions, to longer-standing complex conditions, from employees who are struggling at work, through to assessing capability (or disability) to work within the role or business. This role offers a great opportunity for clinicians to positively impact employee health, wellbeing and workplace performance, as well as supporting customers with workplace initiatives and delivering highly tailored solutions.

Our clinicians require a suitable clinical background in fields such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Rehabilitation (or similar). The work that we offer for Workers spans the full spectrum of services offered, with the option for some wider UK travel. Where more regular patterns (volume and hours applied) are seen, we have the opportunity to explore the possibility of permanent contracts for those who consistently deliver excellent standards. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, and will undergo HCML interview and training procedures ahead of receiving work from us. We provide supportive CPD and training opportunities, clinical escalations and case support (including quality assuring assessment reports) – you will be made to feel an integral part of the team!

The day-to-day role includes: first-class clinical assessment of customer employees (relating to absence, or absence prevention); report writing; stakeholder management (including pre and post assessment discussions of needs); post-assessment case management; tailored training production and delivery; internal contribution to training & social media/marketing activity. Clinical signposting and recommendations form a key component of our services, so we ask that all clinicians maintain professional governing body membership and insurance (reimbursed by the business once permanent contract is held and an individual is out of any probationary period).

Experience

  • 1 year of clinical/practitioner experience
  • Understanding of absence management and HR/employment policies (preferred)
  • Experience of rehabilitation case management (preferred)
