HCML Business Management System Policy

1. HCML is committed to ensuring it provides market leading health solutions and consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations, while ensuring all accesses to, uses of, and processing of information is performed in a secure manner. HCML is also committed to ensuring that it consistently meets all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements. In order to achieve this, HCML have implemented a management framework designed in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013. This management framework is referred to as HCML’s Business Management System (BMS)

2. This BMS will ensure that HCML preserves the confidentiality, availability and integrity of all information and information processing facilities utilised throughout the organisation and its supply chain as well as ensure it continually achieves customer, regulatory and statutory requirements in order to maintain its competitive edge, cash flow, profitability, legal / contractual compliance, and commercial image.

3. The implementation, review and commitment to quality and information security compliance enables all who work with or on behalf of HCML to work effectively and securely. Adherence to the company’s information security requirements will ensure that all electronic operations, transfer of information is carried out in an appropriate manner.

4. HCML will measure the performance of the BMS by establishing quality and information security objectives aligned to our strategic imperatives. These objectives will be reviewed at least annually to ensure that the objectives are being met. These objectives are supported by internal policies and procedures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure consistently high levels of quality are maintained and to reduce any risk to the security of information processed via HCML’s systems and processes.

5. HCML will ensure its clinical governance processes use a standards-based approach to ensure a consistently high standard of clinical quality. HCML staff will always act in accordance with the well-established principles of medical ethics: Trustworthiness, Autonomy, Beneficence, NonMaleficence, Justice and Self-respect, and will embed and maintain a strong culture of personal moral principles in our work and care. 6. The BMS is regularly reviewed a by senior management to ensure it remains appropriate for business. The BMS is subject to both internal and external annual audits.
