Who we’re looking for

Someone dynamic who likes to use the best technologies in the industry. Someone who thrives in a small team and wants to be responsible for developing, supporting and troubleshooting HCML Case Management System and related software in line with agile development methodology, using ASP.NET & Angular/Blazor frameworks.

Purpose of the role

This role offers lots of variety, and will give you the opportunity to:

• Develop new software features and user stories using current and recent Microsoft ASP.NET and Angular, Blazor frameworks.
• Support and implement improvements in HCML’s CI/CD framework.
• Regularly refactor existing software where appropriate to reduce technical debt.
• Work within HCML’s agile (scrum) framework including contributing to scrum ceremonies including the daily scrum, sprint planning and demos / retros.
• Contribute to a dev-ops culture with the team.
• Review internal and customer requirements and how they translate into coding tasks and requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing software.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

• Demonstrable experience developing web-based apps and software
• Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core, Angular, GIT Source Control, Entity Framework, T-SQL and JavaScript
• Strong experience in an Agile delivery environment and exposure to CI/CD
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate with non-technical audiences
• Any experience with Azure, or migration to Azure cloud based apps is beneficial

Desirable:

• Node, Docker, Elastic, Blazor
• Qualifications: A degree is not essential for this role but relevant academic study is an advantage

Please note, for this role we are ideally looking for someone local to Croydon who can be predominantly be home-based, with travel to the office once every 2 weeks.

However, for an exceptional candidate we will consider candidates based Manchester or Bristol if they are able to commit to travel to Croydon once every 3 weeks.
