We are very pleased to say that HCML has been officially Certified™ as a Great Place to Work®!
To meet the requirements, HCML employees were asked to provide their views about HCML and what they felt needed improving. The survey was carried out by Great Place to Work® and all feedback given in complete confidence.
HCML employees had just two weeks to complete the survey for HCML to be in with a chance of certification.
Certification™ also required a Culture Audit™ which included providing details about HCML’s culture, programmes and practices.

To be Great Place to Work-Certified™, a company needs an overall score of 65% or higher in relation to the statement: “Taking everything into account, I’d say this is a great place to work.”
We’re really pleased that 79% of our colleagues agreed that HCML is a great place to work.
Around 10,000 companies across the world use the Trust Index™ survey each year, to gain valuable feedback on workplace issues that are of particular importance. These include respect, fairness, credibility, pride, camaraderie and trust.
Some of the highlights of HCML employee feedback included:
- 90% of employees agree that HCML promotes inclusivity and is committed to treating people fairly
- 83% say they find it easy to talk to management
- 80% of our employees feel they can really be themselves at work
We’re obviously delighted with the positive feedback our employees shared, but one of the biggest benefits of Great Place to Work® is being able use the findings to pinpoint the specific areas that employees feel need improving within the business.
With that, we know that we need to build on celebrating our successes, facilitate inspiring working environments and continue to grow our package of benefits.
