Getting the right treatment for OIC and fast-track personal injury claims is quick and effortless with our triage and treatment services. We offer a range of ways to access physiotherapy or psychological treatment that is convenient for both you and the claimant.

Digital and telephonic physiotherapy and psychotherapy services

Our digital and telephonic services combine referral, assessment, treatment, recovery progress reporting and outcome measures in a simple online journey.

Automated referral

Referrals are made through a dedicated customer portal or integration with your own systems. The claimant automatically receives a unique link to begin their treatment.

Digital assessment

Claimants can access the assessment 24/7 365 days a year. The bespoke assessment enables the injured person to provide comprehensive details of their symptoms. We also offer telephonic triage services, delivered by HCPC registered physiotherapists.

Recommendations

The claimant is presented with an appropriate recommendation which may be self-help exercises, online treatment sessions and support, or face-to-face treatment sessions. You will also automatically receive a Rehab Code 2015-compliant triage report detailing the assessment findings and treatment recommendations. 

Arranging and attending treatment

Claimants recommended physiotherapy can choose and book their own treatment sessions online at one of HCML’s 1,000 clinically governed clinics. They can view appointment details, access videos of their prescribed physiotherapy exercises and contact their HCML rehabilitation case manager.

Outcomes

HCML will oversee the treatment programme and send you a report once the claimant has received all treatment.

Online portal

Creating a referral on the portal is quick and easy. You can pre-approve treatment sessions so that once you make the referral, there is no need for you to do anything – we’ll take it from there.

Straightforward setup and admin

With no requirement for integration to implement and access the service, there’s no interruption to the claims process. The platform is simple to use – simply make a referral and we’ll do the rest.

Dedicated HCML treatment team

All treatment is overseen by the HCML team, who will monitor the progress of the claimant throughout their recovery.
