Health & Case Management Ltd (HCML) has recently hired several additional specialist case managers across a range of clinical disciplines and introduced a clinically-focused assessment model, the Acute INA.
New senior appointments for HCML
Rehabilitation provider HCML has four senior appointments to help it expand into both core and new markets.
Zoe Machin has joined as its first sales director for the corporate and public sector.
Tom Thornton has re-joined HCML as head of Innotrex, HCML’s national treatment and diagnostics networks, while Christian Gib has taken up a new role of marketing and design manager having previously held case management and commercial roles at Argent Rehabilitation.

Tom Thornton rejoins HCML
Tom Thornton rejoined HCML on Monday, 22nd February as Head of Innotrex. He is a member of HCML’s Leadership Team and will report to Keith Bushnell.
Tom was previously at HCML as a clinical supervisor, running the HCML Bristol Office.
In his new role, Tom will be enabling better access to treatment solutions and diagnostics for customers, and also manage HCML’s internal Innotrex operations team.
Innotrex is a fast growing part of HCML, providing treatment solutions to external customers, and providing the treatment platform to provide treatment support to all HCML case management services.
HCML appoints new HR director
Lauren Brownlow joins HCML on 8th February as HR Director.
Lauren will be putting together a people strategy to underpin HCML’s business strategy, with a focus on development and engagement, ensuring that we maximise career opportunities and build the capabilities required in a fast expanding business.
HCML will also be introducing a staff forum in the near future to ensure we are listening better and prioritising appropriately, spearheaded by Lauren.
The importance of this work means that this new role will be part of the HCML Operating Board.
HCML selected to provide support for Alton Towers crash victims
Merlin Entertainments, the owner of the popular Alton Towers theme park, has selected HCML to assess the long term needs of the injured parties involved in the much reported crash on the ‘Smiler’ ride.
