HCML acquires Corazon Health to strengthen Occupational Health growth strategy

HCML has today announced the acquisition of Corazon Health, a respected occupational health provider with a long-standing reputation for clinical quality, customer service and workplace health expertise. The acquisition strengthens HCML’s occupational health capability and represents another important step in the organisation’s long-term growth strategy.

Founded in 2002, Corazon has established itself as a trusted occupational health partner to organisations across the UK. The business has built strong customer relationships, developed an experienced clinical team and earned a reputation for delivering high-quality occupational health services.

The acquisition brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to clinical excellence, customer service and improving workforce health outcomes. By combining HCML’s scale and expertise with Corazon’s specialist occupational health capabilities, the combined organisation will be well-positioned to support employers facing growing workplace health challenges.

James Murray, CEO of HCML, commented:

“Corazon has built an outstanding reputation for quality, professionalism and customer care. We have been impressed by the strength of its people, its customer relationships and its commitment to delivering excellent occupational health services.”

“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our occupational health growth strategy. By bringing together the strengths of both organisations, we can continue to invest in innovation, clinical quality and customer service while creating a stronger platform for future growth.”

Continuity will be central to the integration. Mary Hobday will remain as Managing Director of Corazon for the next 12 months, helping to guide the business as it becomes part of HCML before taking her well-earned retirement. Selina Mitchell will also continue in her current role, ensuring the business benefits from experienced leadership and deep operational knowledge throughout the transition. This continuity will help protect service quality and support customers, colleagues and partners as integration plans are developed carefully over time.

Selina Mitchell, Corporate Services & Finance Director at Corazon Health added:

The acquisition of Corazon Health Limited by HCML presents exciting opportunities for the further development and growth of our business allowing us to enhance and expand the professional, high quality occupational health services we have been proud to provide to our Clients over the past 20 years: working with our new colleagues at HCML and leveraging each other’s strengths and experience we look forward to becoming an integral and valued part of HCMLs Occupational Health growth strategy.

The immediate focus for both organisations will be continuity. Existing customer relationships, service arrangements and day-to-day operations will continue as normal while integration plans are developed carefully over the coming months. The approach will be measured and designed to ensure employees, customers and suppliers remain fully supported throughout the process.

Together, HCML and Corazon will continue to build a stronger occupational health platform focused on delivering exceptional service, clinical excellence and sustainable growth for the benefit of clients, colleagues and the wider occupational health sector.
